The project started with the original kitchen from 1970.
We redesigned the layout to add a dishwasher, spice rack pullout and a large pantry cabinet. The Fabuwood Allure Galaxy Frost Cabinets were upgrade from 30″ uppers to 36″ for added storage and so we could create the finished look to ceiling with crown molding. We also added a 5ft Island with 10″ overhand to accommodate seating. Instead of removing the entire wall between the kitchen and living room we opened a 4ft x 4ft window to connect the rooms. This brought the two rooms together but helped to stay within the budget as we did not need to install a larger beam, move the heat and paint the living room.
This project also included all new luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout the kitchen and dining room. A new Anderson French door with blinds in the glass. and painting of the walls ceiling and trim.
Over all this kitchen remodel was a full transformation of the space that added more storage space and functionality.
