Kent Kitchen Addition

Our client bought this property as a summer home. Two smaller buildings were attached together by a deck in the middle.

We removed the old deck and built a new addition, bridging the two buildings. Being on the side of a mountain, we used building piers and spray foamed the envelope. To stay with the existing finishes of the buildings we installed rough sawn pine siding for the exterior and wide pine flooring inside

Custom cabinets were built by our cabinet maker out of Bristol CT. The contemporary clean finish with floating shelves was matched with a butcherblock countertop for the oversized island.
