Fairfield Kitchen Addition Retrospective
The client’s existing kitchen was smaller then desired and with the current floor plan we could not open the walls up to adjacent rooms to create a larger feel. Our solution was to build a two story addition off the back of the home to house a new kitchen and create an additional bedroom above. This took time as a zoning variance was need for the current property setbacks.
Key Features of this project was the oversized eat in island, large window to bring in lots of natural light, and the custom range hood with sconce lighting and pot filler. A microwave draw in the island was designed to be tucked away but still in a functional spot for everyday use.
