Derby Kitchen Remodel

This kitchen remodel in Derby Connecticut started with replacing the original, dated oak cabinets with a beautiful blue cabinet that have full extension drawers and soft close doors. Upgrades also included granite countertops, tile backsplash, and undercabinet and recessed lighting.  A new picture window was also replaced in front of the sink, as well as the addition of a large island.

This design creates a fluid floorplan with easy access to the refrigerator, sink, and stove. (Known as the “Kitchen Triangle.”) Particular attention was paid to the choice of color for cabinets and stone materials for backsplash and counters, using airy light tones to create a spacious, open feel.
