The client’s goal was to create a first-floor primary suite.
To achieve this, we removed an existing screened-in porch and deck, along with a small kitchen bump-out addition.
This gave us the space to build an office, a walk-through closet, and a bathroom designed for accessibility, including grab bars and a curbless shower. The primary bedroom now opens onto a large screened-in covered deck.
Since the existing siding was faded and could not be matched, we installed all new siding throughout the home.
Instead of adding a separate HVAC system for the new addition, we installed an upgraded system that could handle both the new addition and the existing house.
